Zihciang Prison is a minimum-security correction institution. All administration is carried out in accordance with law. We put emphasis on staff training so that we can be more effectual in our work with inmates as well as service to the public. On the foundation of low security and humanistic orientation, we hope to reinforce the rectification and moralization of inmates, to enlighten inmates’ conscience. Furthermore, with combined social resources, we foster the connection between inmates’ vocational training and their future employment. We hope that when they return and re-adapt to society, they will set a new example of right livelihood as well as justice.
